We are incredibly excited to announce our partnership with Isembard a software and intelligence-first manufacturing business, who have provided us with their high precision 5-axis manufacturing services to support our Project Kepler Rocket Engine and our Project Stratus High Altitude Balloon.

Isembard is manufacturing three very different and highly intricate components for us, including the two interfacing components shown that comprise our Coaxial Shear Rocket Engine Injector, and a valve housing for our High Altitude Balloon.

What really set Isembard apart from other CNC companies was the unparalleled customer support provided throughout the process, including thorough Design for Manufacturing (DfM) feedback across all of our parts! This was particularly critical when completing the post-machining work on our one-off additively manufactured injector head, which had complex internal geometry and external critical features necessitating precision four axis machining. Isembard even took the extra step of testing their CNC program on a plastic mock up of to guarantee quality before finalising production of this one-off AM component.
